One story I'm trying to work on here in Chicago is whether hip-hop activists are organizing for Obama. Given what the other respondents have said, I wonder what the group thinks about Obama’s outreach to hip-hop. Going forward, I’d like to hear more about what you all have observed or think about hip-hop activism and Obama. Should he have sought out the demographic or is his demeanor/swagger/style enough? Does that make a difference? Is he secretly applauding Ludacris’ lyrics?
